Family & Lifestyle Portraits
Hi, I'm Sarah, a visual storyteller invested in transforming fleeting everyday moments into lasting works of art. My approach blends deliberate composition with organic spontaneity, focusing heavily on natural light, shadow, and raw emotion. I don’t just look for beautiful subjects; I seek out hidden narratives and unique perspectives that go unnoticed. Every project is a collaborative journey, and I thrive on working with families who want to co-create moments that resonate.
Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.
I've learned, perhaps from my Newfoundlander grandparents, that the things that we keep closest in the end are the small, mundane moments that we'd otherwise fail to notice. It's hard not to photograph the world when the best of it all is right there in front of us.
Apart from fighting the ever-vigourous descent into chaos that my children bestow upon me (here, my son is crying because I won't let him eat rocks), the transition into parenthood gifted me a felt understanding of just how precious this short developmental period is. Capturing these million moments, each special, is something I take honour (and sometimes humour) in.
